Syn.: C. nigra (L.) Reich. var. juncea (Fr.) Hyl.

This taxon probably also includes the type called C. nigra var. recta (Fleisch.) Hyl. (Hylander in Nord. kärlväxtfl. 2/1966, p. 116) and, at least partly, the closely related C. wiluica Meinsh. (Fl. Aret. URSS 3/1966, map 31) which, however, may have been confused with related taxa.
