1120 Potentila erecta (L.) Räuschel

This species is mainly restricted to Europe and covers most of this part of the world. It has possibly been introduced into N. America. However, it is recorded among the amphi-atlantic plants (Hultén, Amphi-atl., p. 134 and map 116). It is doubtful whether the species is indigenous on Iceland, the Faeroes and Azores.
