1481 Glaux maritima L.

This widespread species is partly a sea-shore plant, partly an inland plant (C. and SE. Europe, Asia, N. America). There may be taxonomic differences between these populations. On the whole the species has a circumpolar distribution (Hultén, Circumpol. Il, p. 190, 386 and map 182). Cf. also Meusel et al. 1978, map p. 334.
