1519 Galium palustre L.

This widespread species is native in Europe, W. Siberia and eastern N. America. Thus, it belongs to the amphi-atlantic plants (Hultén, Amphi-atl., p. 170 and map 151). It has been introduced at least into S. America (Argentina) and New Zealand.
