Syn.: Oglifa minima (Sm.) Rchb., Logfia minima (Sm.)Dumort.

This species occurs in most of Europe (except N and E) and adjacent parts of Africa. It has been favoured by the clearing of dry, sandy ground. It is more obviously adventive in northern localities.
