Agrimonia eupatoria

This Eurasiatic species includes three subspecies according to Fl. Eur. 2/1968, p. 32, viz. subsp. eupatoria in most of Europe and adjacent parts of Africa and Asia, subsp. grandis (Andrz.) Bornm. towards the south of the just defined area and subsp. asiatica (Juz.) Skalicky in SE. Europe and W. Asia. The species has been introduced into S. Africa, Java, New Zealand and N. America (a few New England states and locally elsewhere). The N. American counterpart is A. striata Michx. Cf. also Meusel et al. 1965, map p. 221.
