959 Draba lactea Adams

This arctic species has a wide distribution in Eurasia and N. America. Transitions to D. fladnizensis Wulf. are considered to occur frequently. The closely related D. allenii Fem. in northeastern N. America is also mapped, probably incompletely. D. lactea has a circumpolar distribution, but it is also reported among the amphi-atlantic plants by Hultén, Amphi-atl., p. 226 and map 208.
