Eriophorum angustifolium subsp. angustifolium
Mer information om arten

412 Eriophorum angustifolium Honck.

This polymorphic species is widely distributed in Eurasia and N. America. It is here represented by three subspecies (subsp. triste [Th. Fr.] Hult. on map 413), viz. the circumpolar subsp. subarcticum (Vassil.) Hult., subsp. angustifolium in Europe (except extreme N and S) and W. Siberia and the boreal-montane subsp. scabriusculum Hult. in SE. Siberia (named E. komarowii Vassil. there) and N. America. For more details on the distribution in N. America, see maps in Porsild & Cody 1980, p. 187, 188. The species also occurs (as native?) in the West Indies and possibly in S. Africa. Its taxonomy, nomenclature and geography are discussed by Hultén, Circumpol. I, p. 58 (map 51). Cf. also Meusel et al. 1965, map p. 59.
