257 Colpodium vahlianum (Liebm.) Nevski

Syn.: Puccinellia vahliana (Liebm.) Scribn. & Merr.

This arctic species is reported among the circumpolar plants by Hultén (Circumpol. I, p. 8 and map 1). However, earlier reports from the mouth of the Lena and Wrangel I. seem to be erroneous (not in Tolmatchev, Fl. Aret. URSS 2/1964, p. 191 ff.).
