Deschampsia cespitosa subsp. cespitosa
Mer information om arten

334 Deschampsia caespitosa (L.) Beauv. subspp. caespitosa and macrothyrsa Ohwi & Tatew.

The map shows the distribution of two taxa of this polymorphic species, viz. subsp. caespitosa in most of Europe and large parts of Asia and N. America, where it is considered to be introduced and naturalized, and var. macrothyrsa Ohwi & Tatew. in E. Asia (Hokkaido and Sakhalin). The dispersal of the widespread subsp. caespitosa has been favoured by clearings in the rural landscape. The present distribution is circumpolar (Hultén, Circumpol. I, p. 66 and map 58 A). It has also been introduced, for instance, into C. and S. Africa, S. America (Chile), Australia and New Zealand. For other D. caespitosa taxa see nos. 335 and 336. Cf. world map in Meusel et al. 1965, p. 51.

335 Deschampsia caespitosa (L.) Beauv. subsp. orientalis Hult.

Syn.: D. brevifolia R. Br.

This arctic (or arctic-montane) subspecies has a circumpolar distribution (Hultén, Circumpol. I, p. 66 and map 58 B). The relations to other D. caespitosa taxa are still uncertain (cf. I. cit.).
