sibirisk aster
Eurybia sibirica
1768 Aster sibiricus L.
This variable species occurs from Fennoscandia (a couple of isolated localities in C. Norway) through N. Russia and Siberia to northwestern N. America. There may be a gap in W. Siberia. The species shows a tendency towards circumpolar distribution. In the NW. Terr. of Canada an aberrant population occurs, called var. pygmaeus (Lindl.) Coda (tentatively mapped here).
