716 Minuartia verna (L.) Hiern complex

The map shows the distribution of the two species which are considered as belonging to this complex, viz. M verna (L.) Hiern and M. rubella (Wahlenb.) Hiern (cf. Fl. Eur. 1/1964, p. 130 f.). The many lower taxa (subspecies) within the polymorphic species verna (cf. op. cit.) are not mapped separately here. M rubella belongs to the circumpolar plants (Hultén, Circumpol.
