1200 Vicia cracca L.

This rather variable and partly anthropochorous species s. lat. is widely distributed in Eurasia and N. America. There are several lower taxa in this species, sometimes distinguished as species. Within the southern part of the total range V. tenuifolia Roth (no. 1201) occurs (approximately S of the broken line). V. cracca (partly incl. V. tenuifolia) has been introduced into, for instance, N. America, S. Africa, Tasmania and New Zealand. The species s. lat. belongs to the circumpolar plants (Hultén, Circumpol.
