1648 Veronica scutellata L.

This species occurs frequently in mast of Europe and parts of W. Asia and, sparsely, N. Africa. It is considered native in N. America but introduced in S. America and New Zealand. It is reported among the amphi-atlantic plants (Hultén, Amphi-atl., p. 64 and map 45). It could just as well be registered as a discontinuous circumpolar plant.
