1807 Chamomilla recutita (L.) Rauschert

Syn.: Matricaria recutita L., M chamomilla L. p. p. This species probably originates from S. and SE. Europe. From there it has spread intensely towards W and N and partly eastwards into Asia and to N. and S. America, Australia and New Zealand. The present distribution has a circumpolar tendency (Hultén, Circumpol. Il, p. 228 and map 220).
