brasenia
Brasenia schreberi
811 Brasenia schreberi Gmel.
This widely distributed species is now extinct in Europe and large parts of N. Asia. Tertiary and Quaternary (interglacial) records from there are marked separately. Cf. maps by Tralau in Bot. Not. (Lund) 1959, p. 393, 397. The main distribution outside the map area is noted peripherically. The species is recorded by (Hultén, Circumpol. Il, p. 118 and map 109) as a circumpolar plant in a wide sense.
