1192 Astragalus glycyphyllus L.

This species is mainly restricted to Europe and adjacent parts of Asia. The distribution limit of subsp. glycyphylloides (DC.) Matthews in the SE. part of the range is tentatively drawn. The species has been introduced into Finland and a few places on the Bothnian coast in Sweden, and also into same states in eastern N. America. Cf. also Meusel et al. 1965, map p. 242.
