1823 Artemisia norvegica Fr.

This arctic-montane species has a disjunct distribution in Europe, viz. in Scotland, S. Norway and N. Ural. The closely related, polymorphic, mainly pacific A. arctica Less. (with one isolated occurrence in the C. Asiatic mountains) is also mapped (see further Hultén, Fl. Alaska Neighbor. Terr., p. 906 f.).
