The distribution of this Eurasiatic species is hardly possible to define in detail because of the polymorphy of this species and its close relation to the polymorphic D. incarnata (L.) Soó (cf. Fl. Eur. 5/1980, p. 335 f., and the discussion [in Swedish] in Hylander, Nord. kärlväxtfl. 2/1966, p. 225 ff. and 232ff.). Therefore, the map must be regarded as preliminary.
