23 Botrychium lunaria (L.) Sw.

This polymorphic and widespread species occurs mainly in Eurasia and N. America. Some more or less clearly distinguished varieties are reported from N. America (e. g. subsp. minganense [Vict.] Cald. & Tayl.). The species occurs also outside the map area, e. g. in southern S. America, SE. Australia with Tasmania and in New Zealand (S. Island).
