303 Koeleria pyramidata (Lam.) Beauv.

Syn.: K. cristata (L.) Pers. p. p.

This variable species occurs in a more or less open landscape in C. Europe and eastwards. It has been spread northwards, for instance to Sweden and Finland, through the activities of man. Its distribution is insufficiently known, and therfore the map is preliminary. Furthermore, the delimitation from K. macrantha (Ledeb.) Schult. (no. 305) seems to be uncertain.
