1898 Hieracium, the group Praealtina Naeg. & Pet.

This small group of species (agamotaxa) mainly occurs in N., C. and E. Europe. Some of the occurrences in Fennoscandia result from introduction from the Continent. Certain types have also been introduced into N. America and New Zealand.
