1543 Pulmonaria officinalis L. subsp. obscura (Dom.) Murb.

This European subspecies reaches further to the north than subsp. officinalis (no. 1542). It has been introduced into Great Britain. The closely related P. mollissima Kern. occurs in S. Russia, Caucasus, E. Russia and W. Asia.
