645 Polygonum aviculare L. complex

This intricate complex of several closely related species and lower taxa is widely distributed in Eurasia and N. America. They are partly enumerated in Hultén, Circumpol. Il, p. 254. Some of these taxa are introduced by man to many parts of the world. The complex has a circumpolar distribution (op. cit., map 245).
