1712 Orobanche elatior Sutton

Syn.: O. major L. p. p.

This species (incl. O. krylowii G. Beck) grows on Centaurea spp., other Compositae and Thalictrum. It occurs in Europe (except the N. and S. parts) and W. Asia. It is now less frequent, at least in Denmark, than earlier. The map is preliminary. Cf. also Meusel et al. 1978, map p. 414.
