1280 Mercurialis perennis L.

This species is mainly restricted to Europe. Owing to local conditions it is irregularly distributed. The occurrences at the coast of the Bothnian Sea are adventive. It is reported to be introduced into Australia (Hegi). Cf. also Meusel et al. 1978, map p. 267.
