753 Cerastium diffusum Pers. subsp. diffusum

Syn.: C. atrovirens Bab., C. tetrandrum Curt.

This subspecies is almost entirely restricted to W. and S. Europe. The distribution is incompletely known. It has been introduced into a few places in N. America, certainly more than indicated on the map.
