898 Corydalis solida (L.) Sw.

Syn.: C. bulbosa Lam.

Within this variable, mainly Eurasiatic species four subspecies are distinguished in Fl. Eur. 1/1964, p. 254. Subsp. solida occurs throughout the total range of the species. Subsp. laxa (Fr.) Nordst. is restricted to an area in C. Fennoscandia, which is marked on the map by a broken Iine. The other two subspecies have a mainly southeastern distribution. The species is Iocally adventive, especially in outlying places. Cf. also Meusel et al. 1965, map p. 173.
