Mer information om arten

1735 Sambucus nigra L.

This species occurs indigenously in parts of Europe and probably in adjacent Africa and Asia. It is often cultivated (in Sweden to about 63 °N) and spread by birds within and outside its original area. In many cases it is impossible to decide whether a shrub (or tree) is native or not. It has been introduced into several parts of the world, for instance E. Asia, N. America, S. Australia and New Zealand.
