1285 Euphorbia esula L.

This polymorphic species, here taken in a wide sense (cf. Fl. Eur. 2/1968, p. 225 f.), originates from S. and SE. Europe and probably adjacent parts of Asia. It has spread widely on the northern hemisphere, even to N. America. The map may be regarded as preliminary. Cf. also Meusel et al. 1978, map p. 270.
