1884 Leontodon hispidus L.

This variable species occurs mainly in Europe (except N and parts of S). It has been favoured by clearings for meadows and pastures. On the Baltic islands and in N. Fennoscandia it is more or less casual. The species has been sparsely introduced into N. America and New Zealand.
