1767 Aster linosyris (L.) Bernh.

Syn.: Linosyris vulgaris Cass., Crinitaria linosyris (L.) Less.

This xerophilous species occurs in S., S.C. and SE. Euope and sparsely in adjacent parts of Africa and Asia. It seems to be indigenous in England and on the Baltic islands of Öland and Gotland. The map is partly incomplete.
