1412 Cicuta virosa L. complex

The map shows the total range of this complex of species (or subspecies) including C virosa L. in Eurasia and C mackenzieana Raup, C maculata L. and C douglasii (DC.) Coult. & Rose in N. America. According to Porsild and Cody 1980, map 847, C maculata (var. angustifolia Hook.) occurs further towards northwest. The complex has a circumpolar distribution (Hultén, Circumpol.
