Mer information om arten

940 Arabis hirsuta (L.) Scop.

Within this polymorphic, widespread species several subspecies are distinguished. In addition to subsp. hirsuta in most of Europe and throughout Asia, some of them are mapped separately, viz. subsp. stelleri (DC.) Hult. in easternmost Asia, subsp. eschscholtziana (Andrz.) Hult. in Pacific areas of northwestern N. America and subsp. pycnocarpa Hopk.) Hult. in large parts of N. America with its var. glabrata Torr. & Gray in western N. America. For subsp. planisiliqua (Pers.) Thell. (syn.: A. gerardii Bess. ex Koch) see no. 939. The species s. lat. belongs to the circumpolar plants (Hultén, Circumpol. Il, p. 160, 372 and map 152). It has been introduced into New Zealand. Cf. also Meusel et al. 1965, map p. 189.
