1206 Vicia hirsuta (L.) Gray

This nowadays widespread species is considered native in W. and S. Europe and parts of SW. Asia. It has been introduced and partly naturalized in several parts of the world (see the notes on the map). The species belongs today to the (almost) circumpolar plants (Hultén, Circumpol. Il, p. 228 and map 219).
