This arctic-montane species is reported among the amphi-atlantic plants (Hultén, Amphi-atl., p. 232 and map 213). However, several new localities in N. and E. Siberia rather indicate a circumpolar hut disjunct distribution. Cf. also Meusel et al. 1965, map p. 63.
