Mer information om arten

1863 Cirsium heterophyllum (L.) Hill

Syn.: C helenioides (L.) Hill

This boreal-montane species has a wide, partly disjunct distribution in Eurasia. It is considered to have been introduced into Ireland, Iceland and Greenland. For that reason, it is reported among the amphi-atlantic plants by Hultén (Amphi-atl., p. 102 and map 83). In Fennoscandia it is much more common in the northern parts than in the southern.
