glansmålla
Atriplex sagittata
690 Atriplex nitens Schkuhr
Syn.: A. acuminata Waldst. & Kit.
This species is often distinguished as A. hortensis subsp. nitens (Schkuhr) Pons (cf. no. 689). It is widely spread by man from W. and C. Asia, where it seems to replace A. hortensis (Fl. USSR 6/1970, p. 67), and into C. Europe (cf. map 516 in Atlas Fl. Eur. 5/1980, p. 35). Subsp. desertorum Iljin (syn.: A. aucheri Moq., A. amblyostegia Turcz.) occurs from the Black Sea area eastwards (l. cit.). A. nitens is reported from a few places in N. America. The map is incomplete in many respects; cf., however, Meusel et al. 1965, map p. 133.
