The map shows the total ranges of the arctic-montane taxa belonging to this complex. For the boreal, more or less lowland taxa, see no. 822. Mapped are subsp. arctica (R. Br.) Hult. (C. minor Mill. in Fl. Eur. 1/1964, p. 211) with an almost circumpolar distribution (including C. sibirica sensu Tolmachev) and subsp. asarifolia (DC.) Hult. from the Aleutians and along the Pacific coast down to Oregon. Cf. also Meusel et al. 1965, map p. 155.
